About Solangé
It was during my high school sophomore year Broadcast Journalism class that I found my passion for media production. I had always been interested in the media & entertainment industry as theatre was also my first passion growing up. I knew for a fact that I was certainly not an on-air personality but I found comfort in creating stories and editing the footage after the fact then seeing it all come together beautifully in the end. I remember the moment like it was yesterday. I had just walked into WUSA 9’s studio located at home in Washington, D.C for a class trip. Seeing how the team worked together to complete different tasks motivated me to continue practicing my scriptwriting and storytelling skills. I knew exactly then that this where I was supposed to be. When I am not in a class or editing a new project, you can find me watching YouTube tutorials, making mood boards on Pinterest, or playing Hay Day! I love watching videos on various topics from cooking to conspiracy theories on subliminal messages in television shows and movies.
